MINI TOP UP.

No driver wants to think about losing their MINI, and while we can't always stop the unthinkable from happening, we can help you get back on the road. We have a range of products that will settle the difference between your insurance pay-out and the amount owing on your finance agreement. The pay-out is calculated according to excess payable, arrears, refundable premiums or capital additions.

  • Basic Top Up -Vehicle amounts greater than R50, 000 and less than R1, 5 million. Maximum benefit – R300 000 shortfall.

  • Top Up - Vehicle amounts greater than R50, 000 and less than R1, 5 million. Maximum benefit – R300 000 shortfall. R6000 excess benefit towards underlying excess in the event of a valid shortfall claim. The maximum amount paid out, will be determined by your underlying Comprehensive insurance cover on your vehicle. Supplementary cover included in the event that you unintentionally violate the underlying comprehensive policy – You will need to submit an Ombudsman request against the underlying Insurer first. Deposit protector (Optional cover only applicable if a deposit was paid). Deposit protection up to R100 000.

  • Top Up over R1, 5m -Vehicle amount that exceed R1, 500,000 to a maximum of R2, 500,000 in value. Maximum benefit of R600 000 shortfall.
  • Trade Assist Loan Top Up - In the event that you take out a Trade Assist Loan to cover the shortfall on your trade-in vehicle, you can take this option which will cover this amount in the event that your MINI is stolen or written off.

    What you get:

    1. Covers Vehicle amounts greater than R50,000 and less than R1,5 million shortfall
    2. Maximum benefit – R300 000 shortfall     
    3. The maximum amount paid out, will be determined by your underlying Comprehensive insurance over on your vehicle.

  • Increases resale value.

Chips, scratches and upholstery tears – nobody wants them, and they always pop up when you least expect it. Fortunately, we have plans designed to keep your MINI in showroom condition.

  • The MINI Care and Cosmetic Exterior Cover Plan takes care of minor damage including scratches, small dents, windscreen chips, alloy wheel damage and tar removal.
  • The MINI Care and Cosmetic Interior Cover Plan ensures that damage or blemishes to upholstery, seat pockets, plastic door panels, the steering wheel and other interior components is taken care of.
  • The MINI Care and Cosmetic Inside Out Cover Plan covers all the Exterior Cover Plan and Interior Cover Plan benefits.

MINI TYRE AND RIM COVER.

So a pothole or a nail in the road tried to put a damper on your journey? No worries. We have tyre cover that aims to keep you on the road to good times, all the time.
 MINI TYRE COVER  MINI TYRE COVER
  • The policy covers the cost of the tyre to be replaced when the tyre has suffered irreparable damage.
  • Tyre claims are limited to a maximum of R45 000 per annum.
  • There is no limit for regular tyres, however, if there are excessive claims they will be investigated prior to a payout.
  • No excess is payable.
  • All four tyres are covered with any given incident.
  • There is a minimum tread limit of 1 mm.
  • Value is paid per tyre.

Every minute behind the wheel of a MINI is memorable. However, while you are making memories, age and mileage may result in mechanical damage to your beloved car. Fortunately, MINI Extended Warranty Cover will ensure that mechanical problems that may arise over your vehicle’s lifespan are kept to a minimum.

  • 24 month warranty extension.
  • No waiting period applies.
  • 42 major components included.
  • Resultant damage or loss to an insured component caused by the failure of an insured or non-insured component is covered.
  • Cover can be transferred with the vehicle.

 

YOU WILL ALSO HAVE ACCESS TO THE FOLLOWING ROADSIDE ASSIST BENEFITS:

  • Tow in: One tow in per claimable event.
  • Overnight accommodation: In the event of a breakdown 200 km from your residence.
  • Car rentals: If repairs are not completed within 48 hours this benefit is applicable.
  • Keys locked in the vehicle: One call out a year benefit is limited to R350.
  • Changing of flat tyre: This benefit is limited to 2 call-outs a year.
  • Battery failure: This benefit is also limited to 2 call-outs a year.
  • Emergency fuel delivery: Europ Assistance will arrange for 10 litres of fuel to be delivered to you. Cost of fuel will be for your account. Benefit is limited to 2 call-outs per year.
  • Emergency assist: In the event of an accident, Europ Assistance will contact the traffic authorities and emergency services if required. Costs of emergency services are for your account.
  • Map Direct: Helpline for directions or route guidance when travelling.
